 Background

The sustainable development path of the timber industry, as an important industry closely linked to natural resources, has become the focus of global attention with the continuous deepening of the concept of sustainable development in society, as well as the severe challenges posed by global climate change and the increasing vulnerability of ecosystems.

In this context, the leadership of women in the timber industry has risen significantly. With their unique insights into industry trends, relentless efforts, and outstanding talents, they have shone brightly in leading industry development, technological innovation, product design, and marketing, contributing a significant "She" power to the green transformation and sustainable development of the timber industry. As advocates of green concepts and drivers of industry change, they play an irreplaceable role in promoting green ideas and pushing forward industry transformation.

Since the 2023 Panel Dialogue on She Power for the Sustainable Development of Global Timber Industry, the importance of women in promoting the sustainable development of the global timber industry has garnered increasing attention, drawing more focus on their contributions and potential in forestry development. This has facilitated women to play a more prominent and active role within the timber industry.

 Purpose

To explore the role and power of women in promoting the sustainable development of the global timber industry, we aim to help "She" access more resources, create a better professional development environment for "She", facilitate the growth of "She" power, serve global forest products and industrial enterprises, and contribute to the sustainable development of the global timber industry.
